Super Sloth

About
Super Sloth is a game created by Nathaniel Yellon, Micheal Stephens, Connor Gartland, Tyler Blust and myself. It started as an excercise that would help us get our feet wet for those members of OUGDA that were just starting in their Game Development world. While this was only one of five teams working to make games this one was the most successful and actually came to be released for mobile gaming.

Design
The original design for super sloth was to be a vertical platform game where the player would ascend higher and higher into the sky but after a discussion among the team it was changed to the more traditional horizontal scroller. We then chose to take the game in a more silly and comical route and the art and sound were made to match the new theme.

Sound
Sounds were made using an 8 bit sound generator along with the Sound Effect Libraries in the Ohio University School of Media Arts and Studies. Those from the generator were tweaked to match the actions precisely.

Music was written in Pro Logic X using midi instruments.
